We are a family of five people and many pets.
We have two young
children, and besides our dogs, we have three spayed and neutered cats that we adopted as strays. Our
cats, sadly, must live outside due to allergies and a family history of asthma. We love our
labradoodles because they are as soft as cats without the hair-shedding or
aggravation to allergies.
Andrea was born and raised in San Diego County. Eric is from the city of San Francisco. Andrea and Eric both attended universities in the San Diego Area. Eric is an educator and secondary school administrator. His background is in English language rhetoric and writing, science, and education from San Diego State University (SDSU). He has also spent years coaching high school football and enjoys being around kids of all ages...
Andrea spends her days caring for our two young children. Her background is in anthropology, English and world literatures, and education from University of California at San Diego (UCSD). She enjoys researching health, child development, and anything in the field of anthropology. Andrea loves learning about natural processes and viewing the world holistically. With our experience in the field of education, we notice the rising trend of students identified with autism spectrum disorders. Some reports indicate that 1 out of every 150 students in our elementary schools are on the autism spectrum. Service dogs working with students with autism positively affect the social and cognitive abilities of children. Part of our mission is to breed dogs with suitable temperaments for therapy and assistance work and to donate our pups to the cause. We are working with the North Star Foundation to "help children find their way."

Their lines come directly from Australian origins and the breed founders.
